DESCRIPTION:The analysis of toponyms can open up questions concerning lan
 guage contact\, history\, movements and more. \nAs a tool for such an en
 deavor\, we created an R package that lets users find interesting topony
 ms\, analyze data frames\, compare regions\, produce simple statistics a
 nd most notably generate maps of given toponyms.\nWe will present the ma
 in functionalities and give illustrative examples from different areas o
 f the world. Technical details will be left out but can be provided afte
 rward.
