Lecture: French Negation Acquisition: A Comparative Study of L2 Learners in Classroom vs Naturalistic Exposure
French negation is made up of two parts: pre-verbal ne and post-verbal pas. Although written French still requires both, spoken French almost solely relies on pas. We wish to dive deeper by comparing L2 learners' acquisition of French negation coming from classroom or naturalistic exposure settings using a self-paced listening method.
