This is a work-in-progress presentation of my MA thesis on genitive variation in English.
My MA thesis explores genitive variation in spoken Late Modern English in the 18th century. Genitive variation is the variable of main interest in recent research on syntactic alternations in English (Rosenbach 2014: 215).
