Through my two master's subjects, I am especially interested in the situation and communication of people with hearing impairments and sign languages. In general, my linguistics studies were focused on multilingualism, multimodality and language acquisition. Through my work at the Mercator Institute at the University of Cologne, I also focus on topics of language assessment and language education.
