Welcome to the 71st Studentische Tagung Sprachwissenschaft (StuTS) + 31st Tagung der Computerlinguistik-Studierenden (TaCoS)!
We would like to invite you in the picturesque Leeuwarden, capital of the province of Friesland in the Netherlands. Despite the continued uncertainty with travel caused by the COVID-19 virus, we are planning to hold the conference in-person from May 26 till 28, 2022.

The Call for Participation is online and we are looking forward to receiving many interesting contributions! We cordially invite all students of linguistics and related disciplines, from the Bachelor's phase to the doctorate, to present their work. Whether it's a term paper, a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, or any other project you are currently working on - everything is welcome. You can decide whether you would rather present a poster or give a talk. We also welcome workshops on languages or technologies by students who would like to share their knowledge. We welcome a wide range of topics, as long as they are linguistic in nature.

The title for the talk/workshop/poster and an abstract of about 300 words can be submitted via the platform Frab.

Presentation slots are 20 minutes each for the talk and 5-10 minutes for questions. Longer slots for longer talks or workshops are also available on request. If you are not presenting in English, German, Dutch, Spanish or French, please also provide us with a translation of the abstract into one of these languages so that we can assess the presentation. Keep in mind that your language level must be high enough to give a scientific talk in that language and that even linguists do not speak every single language that has ever existed.

Call for Participation — Important dates:
Opening date: December 1, 2021 — 10am (CEST)
Closing date: April 13, 2022 — EXTENDED: April 20, 2022
Start of anonymity period: April 25, 2022

The schedule of the conference will be announced in coming weeks.

You can't submit a talk, because this conference is in the past.
