Speaker: Natalia López-Cortés
Natalia López Cortés is a research fellow in the Department of General Linguistics at Universidad de Zaragoza. She holds a degree in Spanish Philology from the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain). She is presently undertaking her doctoral studies in Psycholinguistics, specialising in the topic of lexical ambiguity. The working title of her thesis is "The nature of lexical ambiguity. A study on Spanish nouns". She is a member of Psylex, a research group which focuses on the scientific study of human language, and part of Psylexlab, where she conducts different experimental tasks. Her main research interests include language processing, the structure of the mental lexicon and the psychological interpretation of lexical units. She is also interested in how to teach grammar in secondary education.
